Noisy humbuckers, no fun.
The sound is fairly balanced and musicall, lots of harmonics ... only one big minus : these humbuckers are very noisy! Not in the way of usual feedback but they pick up every little knock and scrape on the body ( Epiphone SG) as if there were a microphone attached. And thats suspended in rubber in the scratchplate ....even at lo-gain/ no-gain levels.
Not good. I would advise other guitarist to go for a tv jones humbucker, a little more money.. a lot less unwanted noise!
