Great strings
Jurica 21.04.2023
These are great , they are 9's with high e .08 and g string .14 which is even lighter than in regular 8's. So you have lots of fun when soloing. I was actually transitioning from 10's to 9.5's before trying these. But now I think I am going to buy few more sets.
You may need to adjust your playing if you used 10's before. But if you used 9's and these will give you more flexibility without need to adjust. They last long time so I recommend.

C
Very comfortable. High Quality

The Hyper Slinky set is now my favourite set, for tuning in E Standard.

I used to use the Hybrid Slinky set (Orange Pack) on 25.5" scale guitars.

After 4 gigs in a weekend, I ended up with a pain in my ring finger which lasted for around 5 weeks. I ended up having to stop playing for 4 weeks for the pain to finally go away.

I went down to 8's (Extra Slinky blue set) which was great for soloing and meant no pain whatsoever. Although, It was just too slinky for me with the rhythm playing. I wasn't able to dig in when I needed to, for picking hand dynamics, without the odd bit of noticeable tunning issues.

This set is the perfect balance. Solid and stable on the low strings and plays like a dream for soloing.

Holds tuning very well, on a well setup guitar.

With Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes String Cleaner, and a wipe down with tissue paper before a gig, I get 4 gigs out of them before I feel the need to change but I'm sure they could last a longer without a string snap.

Excellent hybrid set
Dulak 12.05.2023
Extremely happy with Ernie Ball coming out with this hybrid set. Always loved 8s but felt the bottom 2 strings could be just a smidge thicker. This set is perfect for me.

I like EB anyway...
JArling 29.04.2024
because they stood up against Microsoft -- but that's another story. Their strings, though, make a world of difference compared to those provided with the guitar (an HB-35+), both acoustically and amplified. I was not sure .08s could d stand heavy bending -- they can, up to 4-5 half notes, at which point I have to give up. And they're dirt cheap.

Nun platzt die e Saite nicht mehr
Alexander8787 09.08.2023
Früher musste ich die gitarre schon mal 1/2 Ton runter stimmen damit die e Saite bei meinen Blues Entartungen nicht reißt. Nun kann ich sie ziehen und zerren, bleibt stimmstabil und langlebig

Best Set Ever
Burcu 04.10.2023
If you are a regular 9-42 player, you should try this.
Standard .8 set is so loose and out of control for me. But this is perfect.
You get the 9-42 feeling but better control and speed.
I think G string makes the biggest difference, feeling less tense and controllable. High E is also an advantage for bends.
If you have any doubts, dont overthink and get one.
