Watch out for 8th string thickness!
Gilly Ribeiro 02.03.2020
I'm a long time user of the Elixir Nanoweb series.
All my guitars are equipped with such strings, varying the gauges depending on tuning and scale length.

This string set was made having in mind multi-scale 8-string guitars. Which is good!
Sound is tip-top, as ever, exactly as you'd expect on an Elixir Nanoweb string set. These are incredibly durable strings, be it tone-wise and resistance to corrosion.

However, there is one thing that has to be of attention on this particular set: the 8th string is a .074 gauge string. The gauge goes all the way from the ball-end until the very tip.
On my guitar (Harley Benton FanFret-8) I had to enlarge the tuner hole to acomodate the string. It is a 1min job, provided you have a Dremel and a metal bit.

Besides that, no other remarks!
As ever, I thoroughly recommend these!

Nice strings that last long
Conrad1988 02.10.2018
These strings are for you if you don't change strings often and if you have corrosive sweat.

As a long time Elixir user, the tone of these strings was exactly as I'd expected. Not as bright as uncoated strings, but they can last me for up to half a year.

Before this set was available, I was using a 10-56 7 string set with an additional 68. That worked for me, but the low end wasn't as tight as could be, but with this set I don't have that problem. The gauge is thick enough to hold the low F#, and it's cheaper than buying a 7 string set + an extra string.

The coating isn't noticeable, and even the plain strings feel natural. If you have really corrosive sweat like me, these are the strings for you.
