Sweet. Simple. Reverb.
I bought this pedal based on the fact that it was highly regarded, had good reviews, and that one of my musical heroes uses one. I was not disappointed.
The spring reverb effect was what I was really after, it offered me a very simple reverb sound that went beautifully with my clean tone. Given there is only one parameter knob on the Holy Grail, you can't tweak as much as you may like, but for a rhythm guitarist such as myself this didn't affect me too much.
The 'Flerb' setting is not something I had given a large amount of thought but after a play around with it I've found it to be quite an interesting sound. A nice addition to the pedal whilst again taking into consideration the price and size.
The only real criticism I would have of the Nano Holy Grail is the 'Hall' setting. When it's turned past around 3 o'clock, the delay between playing the chord and it coming out of the amplifier is large and noticeable. I am unsure whether this is a problem many people have as I have not looked into it but I feel it makes the 'Hall' setting relatively unusable.
The EHX Nano Holy Grail 'spring reverb' is definitely something I have kept in my pedal chain, even though I now own a Strymon Big Sky as well.

Electro Harmonix Holy Grail
EHX Holy Grail is one of the very best reverb pedals in the market.
Pros:
- Has many possibilities of reverb tones (Spring, Hall and Flerb)
- Only has one knob and it's perfectly enough
- Especially the spring reverb has a very nice and warm tone
- It works perfectly from a subtle jazzy reverb to a full wet psychadelic reverb
Cons:
- The flerb sound is a bit strange at first, but after some practice you get more used to it's flangery mood
- Can only be used with the original power supply that comes with the pedal.
Conclusion:
Although the small size and having only one knob this pedal can turn in a verstile tool to you guitar sound.
Put it in the end of your pedal chain, plug in your guitar and discover by yourself the magical world of reverbs.

Trusted and great reverb pedal.
I was in search for a simple but powerful reverb pedal to shape my tone. EHX always builds great pedals in my experience that will last a long time. The Spring and Hall reverb really complimented the missing reverb on my Marshall Origin 20H. It delivers great vintage reverb to my ears. The Flerb setting might sounds weird to most people's ears but with some creative tweaking, can deliver unique sounds. Especially when it's paired with other effect pedals that add modulation.

Best reverb pedal
Love this pedal!
Bought it because it's used by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker. Not disappointed.
I read in other reviews that people don't really enjoy the Hall mode, but I cannot agree. I mostly play in Hall, and if you use it before compression in bridge pickup, it sounds absolutely psychedelic! I have to agree that it is a bit weird if you turn it past 3 o'clock, but till then you have more than sufficient reverb, besides you can experiment with the obvious delay that appears if you turn the knob over 3 in Hall mode.
The power supply got me confused, initially I thought that this pedal could be only used with that specific adapter, but I'm using it with my HB Power Plant without any problems.
Small, light, many features, great sound, power adapter included - great deal!

Holy Grail? Oh yes!
I wanted a moderately priced reverb effect pedal to use with my 5W valve practice amp, to provide a fuller sound in a fairly "dead" practice room. I found the Holy Grail package to be perfect for the job providing bags of Spring or Hall reverb with my Les Paul or Crafter electro-accoustic. The FLERB effect is mental! I would recommend this product for value for money, great range of effect, & simple to use. As usual, first class service from Thomann.

Everything except flerb is good!
This is the first reverb pedal i tried, i think i will be replacing it eventually because i am getting a tonemaster twin, so there will be more spring reverb than you ever need.
The pedal itself is great, the only bad thing about it is the flerb setting, which is trash)

Lush spring surf reverb
I really really like the spring reverb and that was the reason i initially bought it. It is very close to Fender-amp reverb that i prefer. Also, I like the simplicity that it has only one knob. The Hall reverb it is also nice till 12oclock setting. Flerb i do not play at all, i would prefer a Room type instead. It does not seem to affect my tone as it is true bypass

Nice Pedal
I bought this to replace a very old electro harmonix pedal which had "died". Great little pedal, nothing fancy but does a great job. Much more compact than the old pedal and it looks pretty bombproof so should last for years like the old one did
