Great price-performance-ratio and a basic tool for guitarists and bass players.
The cutter is bigger than what I expected from the picture, but still easily fits guitar cases and gigbags. The size contributes to a great handling and firm grip.
Compared to common wire cutters from the hardware store, this one is equally sharp but gives you very clear cuts on the thinner as well as on the thicker strings. So there are no pointy leftovers sticking out your tuners. It cuts like a hot knife throgh butter.
The only slightly negative aspect: Since a spring keeps the cutter open, I used a rubber band on the handles to keep it closed and fit my gigbag pocket better.
Great overall quality and definite recommendation.

They are very good quality! They feel sturdy and well built and unlike some other string cutters they leave a clean neat edge. They only slight negative point i can think of is the fact that the spring in middle automatically opens them, therefore they cannot be kept shut. I usually keep my string cutters in my guitar case so i have had to keep them shut with an elastic band so they don't damage anything. Its not that much of an issue and if you're going to keep them in a drawer or something then it wont be an issue at all! I would recommend these string cutters to everyone and they are a fantastic price which always helps!

sympa

Good plier
Waldorg 01.05.2020
Pros:
-Good quality plier, it can cut anything.
Cons:
-No locking mechanism, the cutter always stays open.
- The tool arrived a bit corroded.
- IMO too expensive for what it is.

Does the Job

This snips has one job to do, and it does it very well, the quality of the tool is excellent and I am sure it will last a lifetime.
Recommended, especially suit Bass players better.
I removed one star because I reckon the product is a small bit expensive. But then I guess you pay for quality.

Gets the job done

Cuts strings really easy but quality could be better. The spring that resets its position broke the first time I used it.

Does the Job Fine

It's really good at what it does and I never had any problems with it.
I believe though that it is pricier than it should hence the 4 stars.

Good quality for a standard tool that can be bought any hardware shop. Time will see how long they stay sharp for.

Does what it's supposed to do

I wouldn't say that it's an incredible product, but I also wouldn't want anything else from it. It cuts guitar strings (0.13) without any problems, it's sturdy and it comes well oiled.
Maybe even too well oiled. I keep it in the original plastic case because if you're not careful the excess oil could stain some other thing in your drawer.
