Super preamp
I bought 2 of them for recording our band in my home studio. I use it mainly with a Rode NT5 pair (guitar and percussion) and a large diaphragm condenser (vocal). Sometimes we also record the bass via this unit. The sound is clear and pleasant. The noise is very low! Everybody is satisfied with the results. The build is very solid, I feel it would not wear out ever. The level metering could be more detailed, but OK. I would buy it again!

Great value.
It's a nice step up from the basic interfaces like the scarlett with a variety of features and great sound. I use mine for voice acting and when using it on my MXL 7000 a rare and precious mic i found in the basement of some german shop and bought on the cheap. I had a hard time getting used to its various buttons but i figured out early to get it not to fizzle i had to engage the impedence on the device.. so thats a thing. UPDATE. The headroom has declined a huge amount and my recordings now clip really early and the tubes are going.

Very good preamp
It is very good preamp. I primary use it for double bass on stage. I gave 4 star for quality because after a lot of experiments with lot of different bulbs I replace native on with Electro Harmonix 12AX7 EH Tube for better, rounder low end quite good highs.
One thing I don't like. It's connection of power supply and lack of power button.
As for sound and price I recommend it.

Solid
Good preamp/DI, powerful enough to drive a power amp. No eq. but it's solid and pretty hard to break. Good sound, not too much noise at all.

Good product!
Matching the price and quality, the sound becomes warm erupting, the device itself is heavy!

Good active Bass-Di and Mic-Pre
I use it mainly as a active DI Box for my Bassguitar, stays clean until you crank the gain really up and gives it some nice tube saturation.
Sounds imho a lot better than a Palmer DI or the usual low budget DI Boxes.
With Condenser Mics it works fine also.

Great!
When I first got my violin pickup (it was a passive one) I could not hear myself when playing, although everything was turned to max. volume. This not just amplifies the sound, but also gives the violin a little depth, as some passive pickups, like the one I have, give off a shallow sound.
