Great sounding microphone. Used it only for a snare drum so far, but it sounds very good. The only problem was, there was no reduction from mini-XLR to XLR so I had to buy one - however, I think this was probably my mistake - I should have properly study the product description and I would be probably aware of it.

Kondensatormikrofon für Schlagzeug

Dieses Mikrofon ist genau das, was ich mir vorgestellt habe: ich bevorzuge Kondensatormikrofone für das Schlagzeug. Das C 518 überspricht kaum, und wenn, dann sehr angenehm.

Je l'utilise sur des caisses claires de toutes dimensions.
La pince tient bien. Les crans pour régler la distance peau / micro ne permettent pas un placement ultra précis mais ça n'est finalement pas gênant en live.
Utilisé pour des styles différents : funk, rock, metal... Les différents ingés son qui l'ont eu entre les mains ont tous été satisfaits. Pour un micro à ce prix, le qualité du son est étonnante. Quand le batteur tape fort, ça envoie fort, quand il joue gentiment, c'est joli. Dans tous les cas on retrouve facilement le son de l'instrument.
